Session Control allows you more control over which hits are registered on your site. If session control is disabled, your counter will increase by one every time it is called up, even if it is by the same user. This can be useful if you are interested in seeing how often people return to certain pages. However, if you would like to track only unique hits (i.e. you would like a visitor only to show up once for each page) you should enable session control.
